A session with several names, as the British weather’s penchant for change meant that from moment to moment we didn’t know what things were going to be like. In the end, we had a muggy night and an indoor feast of whisky, cocktails and food. From Scottish sushi to ribs and slaw, with a Manhattan that turned into a Boulevardier as its Campari ice cube melted, it was an excellent evening of drinks and more.
