For the 5th time now we gathered in the pre-Christmas darkness for the festival of taste explosion that is Whisky Surprise.

Using “festival pours” (i.e. 10mL measures) in order to ensure that the experience remained a tasting one rather than anything more overtly festive, we tasted the whiskies which each of the 19 attendees contributed.

Of particular note was the fact that this also marked the 100th tasting of the Whisky Squad!
