London

Having burrowed into the realms of American whiskey, Japanese whisky, Irish whiskey, and our quick spin around some of the rest of the world’s product in January, it’s now time to fix our gaze on another whisky producing nation and one which has gathered much international acclaim of late – India.

We are extremely pleased to announce this session, and are lucky on 2 counts:

1) Leading us through the tasting we have the Sales & Marketing Manager for Amrut Distillery, Mr Ashok Chokalingam. As well as having been a handy sprinter and cricketer in his past, Ashok has headed up the EU arm of Amrut’s operations since 2004.

2) The venue for this tasting will be London’s own Bombay-style café, Dishoom.

As it’s a Sunday afternoon session, we’ll meet at Dishoom, try a selection of dishes from their amazing menu, and enjoy a signature cocktail designed especially for us by their head bartender, Carl. Following this, we’ll get stuck into the tasting and journey through the whisky of India.

This session will be 4-6pm, downstairs at Dishoom on Upper St Martin’s Lane (map), and will be £25 per person.

Once you’ve submitted your booking you’ll be redirected to PayPal to pay for your spaces either using PayPal or a credit card. In the event you can’t make it refunds can be given if we can find a taker for your spot, so the more notice, the better.  If a session you’re interested in is booked out, please still contact us as we operate a reserve list.

This event is fully booked.
