The daystar hangs high in the firmament, scorching our delicate exteriors and providing something called ‘vitamin D’ to keep the fragile balance of our beings from tilting too far and collapsing. But now, in these long and warming days, I dream of the before time. The long, long ago. I dream of rain.

It’s actually been raining quite a lot, and no doubt it’ll be pouring on 11 July, so we’ve pulled together a selection of tasty drams that should fit the scene. Or do well with a drop of water. Or just taste nice whatever the weather. I just really like the song.
