After the new year lull, a time of hibernation when the whisky industry sleeps off its Christmas excesses, comes a time of thawing and shiny whisky bottles: it is time for the new hotness.

Join us for an evening of new releases, digging out some of this year’s tastiest things so far.

As usual, we’ll be tasting the whiskies blind, but expect new distilleries, old distilleries, old whisky, young whisky and, hopefully, things that you’ve not had a chance to try yet.

We’ll be heading over to see our friends at The Brownswood in Green Lanes, who have a rather tasty menu, so make sure to arrive early or hang around after Squad for some dinner – the kitchen is open until 10.30pm.
