The 10th Whisky Squad session brings us back to have a look at the traditional whisky world’s most concentrated area of production – the region of Scotland known as Speyside. Home to almost 50 distilleries, Speyside produces some of the world’s most sought after, complex and nuanced whisky, and we’re lucky once again to have Berry Brothers & Rudd’s senior spirits sales specialist Rob Whitehead along to guide us through some fine examples of the gems you can find in the area.
The evenings are run as blind tasting sessions, with an emphasis on exploring flavours & smells, testing our boundaries to see what we like, learning about whisky, and generally having a fairly relaxed & fun time.
