Do you think you could spot family members just by looking at them? That sounds easy. But what about spotting drams from the same whisky family just by using your nose?
We are heading back to one of our favourite independent whisky bottlers – The Scotch Malt Whisky Society – to ponder this question, where everything is single cask and bottles are identified only by curious codes and even curiouser names. Society Ambassador, John McCheyne, will pair up drams from the same distillery to see if we can uncover some distillery DNA. Lab coats optional.
Note: the venue for this tasting is now The Duke of York, 47 Rathbone Street, London W1T 1NQ.
Bookings open Friday, 20th June at 1pm
