It’s time for a treat! Squad ‘organisers’ Billy Abbott and Jason B Standing will lead you through a deep dive into the Bruichladdich distillery in our first August session. Bruichladdich is a distillery that’s both prolific and versatile, producing single malts varying from the unpeated to the ridiculously smoky. It’s come a long way from closure in the mid 90’s to its rebirth as the self-styled Progressive Hebridean Distiiller.

Bruichladdich believe in the impact of terroir and provenance, and that they’re producing whiskies that are true reflections of Islay. They are also mad experimenters with a restless soul. How do the spirits of today’s Bruichladdich stack up against the classic spirits of the Bruichladdich from days of yore? We’ll decides for ourselves by comparing drams from both before and after their millennial renaissance as well as looking at how they’ve developed since.

Bookings open Thursday, 17th July at 11am
