While we’re obviously all fans of whisky, on asking around it seems that we also have a few keen coffee drinkers in the Squad. The affinity between the two beverages also goes the other way, and we’re please to welcome coffee king and whisky lover Tim Ridley of The Department of Coffee and Social Affairs to Whsky Squad.
Join Tim and Billy for an evening of whisky and coffee. It’ll be less a matching and more a contrasting, seeing how coffee and whisky each work when paired with something else. We’ll have four coffees, four whiskies and four tasty treats to pair them with, making for a session a bit different to the norm.
Tim roasts his coffee at the Tate Britain, and we’ll be holding this session right there where all the magic happens. We’ll email people with exact instructions (e.g. what door to aim for) in due course.
