Whisk(e)y Squad #31 – Irish Whiskey #1

Thursday Mar 1, 2012: 19:30 until 21:30

The Gunmakers
13 Eyre Street Hill, Clerkenwell
Clerkenwell EC1R 5ET

(0 places remaining)

Thanks for your interest – this session is now fully booked. Keep your eye on whiskysquad.com for more tasting dates, or why not sign up to our email list using the form on the right-hand side of this website?

To date, other than a couple of dalliances with American and Japanese stuff, and last month’s snapshot of The Rest Of The World, our whisky focus has been (quite rightly) on Scotch.  However there’s a good deal of high quality output from the stills across the Irish Sea – and some of them have been at it for some time!  There’s distilling licence documentation in Ireland dating from the 1600s!

So who better to guide us through this new (to us) and exciting frontier than Whisky Squad regular and whisky industry legend Tim Forbes – a chap who’s been involved in judging the odd international whisky award or two, and spends a vast portion of his day blogging and writing about whisky.  And whiskey.

Tickets will be £15 per person. 7:30pm at The Gunmakers, London.  Record your booking using this web form, and we’ll be in touch by email shortly with payment instructions.

Whisky Squad is London’s friendliest, most casual, and least patronising whisky tasting night, and whisky enthusiasts (or people who are thinking of becoming whisky enthusiasts) of all levels are welcome to join us.

This event is fully booked.
